I contributed to VPR as a broadcast and digital reporter and news
photographer. I produced the flagship news programs Morning Edition and All
Things Considered. I created, curated and hosted six seasons of Dorothy's List,
VPR's "book club for kids." In 2019, as an EWA Reporting Fellow, I reported
and produced Syllabus for Survival, a deep dive into the stability of Vermont's
colleges and universities. I also reported stories for NPR and worked with
national podcasts including This American Life and Peace Talks Radio.
The Stowe Reporter / Snow Sports Reporter & Editor
November 2011 - April 2014 – Stowe, Vermont
As a reporter and photographer, for three seasons, I covered snow sports
including competitive downhill skiing, snowboarding and Nordic skiing for this
weekly ski town paper. In 2013, for my third season, I was named Snow Sports
Editor, in charge of all snow sports related content, including editing weekly
commentaries and submissions.

town report, sent to every resident.

March 1995 - April 2010 – Morrisville, Vermont
I started as a reporter and photographer and worked my way up to senior
reporter/photographer and editor of Arts & Living content for two weekly
papers, News & Citizen and The Transcript. I wrote local news stories and
columns for N&C, covering several award-winning stories. My cover stories for
The Transcript included award-winning features, poetry and children's fiction.

1991 - 1993 – Stowe, Vermont
I was half of a morning show duo, delivering newscasts every half-hour. I was
in charge of the station's overall news content, including managing the
afternoon and weekend newscasters.

I was one of five Vermont poets chosen to participate in a Renga poetry
project displayed throughout the village of Stowe as part of this public art
exhibit. Other notable participants included David Budbill and Julia Shipley.
